Special Award Categories

We are pleased to announce a number of new poster prizes. In addition to competing in your primary abstract category, you may also opt into any of the special award categories by completing the questions below. Opting into any of the following special award categories means that your poster may be reviewed by additional panels of judges. You will receive further information from the sponsor of each category for which you qualify.
Research that might qualify for these prizes include innovations or technologies that could serve as the basis for new products or startups and that provide a benefit to customers in the marketplace. Participants who wish to compete in this category must provide a short statement as part of their poster that outlines the value and identifies the people who could benefit from their technology.
Projects in this category should contain some component of research that focuses on gender and women’s issues. These projects should have a long-term goal of advancing gender equality or the cause of women and girls.

Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library maintains a collection of Research Days abstracts and posters as part of its Health Sciences Research Commons. There are a number of benefits to submitting your work to the Health Sciences Research Commons including the ability to:

  • Link to your poster on your CV and job applications;
  • Make your poster discoverable via Google Scholar;
  • Store your poster in a persistent digital archive; and
  • Share your poster with a global research audience.
